The real estate busines refers to commercial activities or any form of investment undertaken for the purpose of developing housing, co-owned buildings, or land for sale or lease.
What is real estate developer licenses or permits?
- A developer license refers to a license issued by the Real Estate Business and Pawnshop Regulator (RPR), authorizing a real estate developer to carry out real estate development activities in Cambodia.
- A permit refer to a premit issued by department of economy and finance City/Provincial, authorizing a real estate developer to carry out real estate development activities in Cambodia.
How many types of licenses or permits?
Real Estate Developer License or permit are categories into three type as below:
- Housing Developer License or permit;
- Co-owned building developer license or permit; and
- Land lot developer license or permit.
Housing and co-owned building developer licesne or permit divided into two type as the following:
- Type 1: For developers who have completed construction before advertising for sale or lease.
- Type 2: For developers who begin construction and sales or leases simultaneously.
